Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that uses focused relaxation to access the subconscious mind – the part of you that stores beliefs, habits and memories.
Unlike stage hypnosis, hypnotherapy is not about losing control or putting the client to sleep. It is simply a sleep of the nervous system so we can work with the subconscious mind. It is a gentle, collaborative process where you remain aware, safe and in charge at all times.
By working with the subconscious, hypnotherapy helps uncover the root causes of issues that talking therapy or willpower alone often struggle to resolve. This makes it a powerful tool for overcoming challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, unwanted habits, phobias and blocks around performance, health or relationships.
During a session, you are guided into a relaxed, natural state of focus – similar to daydreaming or being absorbed in a book. In this state, the conscious mind quiets, and we can explore the deeper patterns that drive your thoughts and behaviours.
As a qualified Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) practitioner trained by Marisa Peer, I combine hypnotherapy with proven techniques from psychotherapy, NLP and cognitive behavioural approaches.
RTT goes beyond simply relaxing or offering suggestions; it identifies the root of an issue, reframes old beliefs and creates new empowering ones. Most people are surprised by how effective and fast this process can be. Many clients notice significant shifts after just one to three sessions.
